Our Agency
Model City Insurance is a locally-owned independent insurance agency. We proudly serve Calhoun County as well as the remainder of the State of Alabama. We are also licensed to serve our neighbors in the State of Georgia.

We know how important it is to be there when you need us most; whether it's an accident, a house fire, an employee fall, a teen driver getting their license, getting engaged, or the birth of a child. MORPHIS
As a native of Calhoun County, Christa knows the needs in our area. She has worked with various non-profits, local museums, small businesses, and our schools. Insurance is the career she chose because people are her passion. Christa has over 17 years experience in the insurance industry. She is up-to-date on the latest news and trends with companies she represents. She works hard to earn the business of each customer, and knows the value of each person she comes in contact with. Since she began working in insurance it was always a goal to open an agency to serve her friends and family, and those that become friends and family. Knowing the goings on in our area, helping small businesses find the resources they are looking for, providing families with coverage to fit their lifestyle is all second nature for her.
SHANNON
TIMMONS
Shannon is retired from a very prosperous military career. He started in the United States Navy in 1997 as a Cryptologic Technician. After his initial tour he took a break to try out the civilian side of life. During this time he worked in the telecommunications field until opening and running a successful Restaurant. He quickly realized he missed his time in the military and decided to continue his service in the US Army as an Engineer. During this time he has had numerous deployments, his latest being in Afghanistan. Shannon has enjoyed his time in the Service of his Country, but is now ready to spend his time with his family and new ventures.
THOR
The office pooch. He loves barking for no reason, treats from the mailman, and being lazy. You will likely see him in the office on a daily.
